SAN JOSE, CA, UNITED STATES, October 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — San José City College Athletics announced a partnership with HomeTown Ticketing, a digital ticketing platform for school and college athletics. The partnership moves ticketing for Jaguar athletic events to a fully digital system that students, families, alumni, and community members will use at every campus venue.

The system launched at the Jaguars’ Oct. 17 home football game at Jaguar Stadium. Fans can now buy tickets to Jaguar games online in advance or on their smartphones at the gate. Fans can save digital tickets and passes to a mobile wallet or pull them up in the HomeTown Fan App, which speeds up entry.

“Partnering with HomeTown Ticketing is a big step toward a better game-day experience for our fans,” said Tommy Abdenour, director of athletics at San José City College. “We want coming to an SJCC game to be as easy and enjoyable as possible for our campus and the local community. HomeTown gives fans a reliable, secure way to buy a ticket, and it gives our department better tools to run events.”

The new system offers:
• Advance purchases. Fans can buy single-game tickets or tournament passes in advance from a computer or phone.
• Contactless entry. Staff scan tickets from fans’ phone screens at the entrance, which keeps lines moving.
• One online box office. Tickets for the full Jaguar sports calendar are in one place, including regular-season conference games and multi-day invitationals such as the Tip-Off Tournament and the Coach Carr Classic.
